Christopher Hill
Christopher joined Foster Wells in 1987 and became a Partner shortly thereafter. Christopher is now our senior partner and our military law specialist. Christopher receives recommendations to deal with all aspects of military law and regularly attends Courts Martial and military interviews in UK, Germany, Canada, Cyprus, Gibraltar, Kuwait and elsewhere. He has even advised in operational locations including Banya Luka in Bosnia, Slim Lines, Kosovo and Basra. He regularly deals with all three services and also dependants and Crown servants.
He has also been involved in many high profile cases including the Sandhurst enquiry, the Ghurka murder and friendly fire incidents in Iraq. He was the first civilian lawyer to travel to Basra to assist military clients. He has Higher Rights of Audience in Criminal matters and sits as a Judge of Social Security Tribunals. He is a founder member of AMCA, the Association of Military Courts Advocates.
